NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, that the Planning Commission of the City of Rolling
Hills will conduct a public hearing and view a project at 7:30 AM on Tuesday,
January 21, 2014 at the property located at 85 Eastfield Drive, Rolling Hills,
regarding the following:
ZONING CASE NO. 850. Ed and Diana Smith, 85 Eastfield Drive (Lot
10A-EF), Rolling Hills, CA. Request for a Variance to construct a 750
square foot addition a portion of which would encroach into the side and
rear setbacks and request for a Variance to waive the requirement for a set
aside area for a stable and corral. The project has been determined to be
categorically exempt pursuant to the California Environmental Quality
Act (CEQA).
APPLICATIONS REQUIRED BY MUNICIPAL CODE: Chapter 17.38 —
Variances.
Any person is welcome to attend this field trip and provide public testimony and / or
attend the regular Planning Commission meeting described below. We urge you to
review the application and plans for subject case prior to the site visit. These and other
pertinent documents are available at the City Hall Administration Building, located at
2 Portuguese Bend Road, Rolling Hills, CA.
If you challenge the approval or denial of this permit application in court, you will be
