NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING AND NOTICE OF A FIELD TRIP
BEFORE THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF ROLLING HILLS, CALIFORNIA
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, that the Planning Commission will hold a Public Hearing at a
field trip on Tuesday, September 25, 2018 at 2 El Concho Lane, Rolling. Hills, CA at approximately
7:30 a.m.. for the purpose of receiving public input regarding the following:
ZONING CASE NO. 946, Request for a Site Plan Review to extend a raised deck to the
rear of the residence with an out of grade condition; and Variances allowing a 685
square foot residential addition and remodel of the 2,708 square foot existing residence,
addition of a new porto cochere at a changed entry point to the residence with all
improvements to the residence located primarily in the front yard setback area, a small
portion of the raised deck located in the side yard setback area, and waiving the
requirement for a stable and corral set aside area. No grading is proposed for the
project. The subject property is located at 2 El Concho Lane (Lot 7-GF) Rolling Hills,
CA, (Boos/Patterson). The project has been determined to be categorically exempt
pursuant to the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) Guidelines.
APPLICATIONS REQUIRED BY MUNICIPAL CODE: Site Plan Review - Chapter 17.46, and
Variance - Chapter 17.38
Any person is welcome to review the subject application and plans prior to the public hearing at
the City Hall Administration Building located at 2 Portuguese Bend Road, Rolling Hills, CA.
We welcome your input. You may provide your comments in writing to the Planning
Department prior to the meeting or come to the meeting and address the Planning Commission
on this project.
If you challenge the approval or denial of this permit application in court, you may be limited to
raising only those issues you or someone else raised at the public hearing described in this
notice, or in written correspondence delivered to the Planning Commission at, or prior to, the
public hearings.
The Planning Commission will continue the public hearing and will discuss and deliberate this
project at their regular meeting, scheduled on Tuesday, September 25, 2018 beginning at 6:30
p.m. in the City Hall Council Chambers, 2 Portuguese Bend Road, Rolling Hills, CA.
