The Planning Commission of the City of Rolling Hills will conduct a field
inspection on Tuesday, April 20, 2004, to view a proposed project at 3
Eucalyptus Lane, Rolling Hills in the following zoning case:
ZONING CASE NO. 685
Mr. and Mrs. Jeffrey Pieper, 3 Eucalyptus Lane (Lot 53-RH). Site Plan Review for
grading and construction of a new single family residence to replace an existing
single family residence, a pool and a spa.
The Planning Commission's schedule is to visit two other properties
beginning at 5:00 PM on that day, and then proceed to 3 Eucalyptus Lane.
Therefore, expect the Commission at this address shortly after 5:45 PM, unless
due to unforeseen circumstances the field trip to the other property (ties) is
cancelled or delayed.
The Planning Commission held a public hearing on subject zoning case on March
16, 2004, at which time the Commission heard a detailed presentation of the
proposal. The purpose of the field trip is to familiarize the Commission and
interested parties with the location, topography, size and extent of the proposed
project.
Any person is welcome to attend this field trip. However, due to time constraint
during the field visit, extensive testimony and comments will be considered at
the regular Planning Commission public hearing, described below. You are
urged to review the application, plans and minutes of the 3/16/04 Planning
Commission meeting on subject application prior to the site visit. These and
other pertinent documents are available at the City Hall Administration Building
located at 2 Portuguese Bend Road, Rolling Hills, CA.
The Planning Commission will hold an additional meeting regarding Zoning
Case No. 685 on Tuesday, April 20, 2004, at 7:30 PM., at City Hall. Please reserve
this date.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, that the Planning Commission of the City of Rolling
Hills will hold a Public Hearing at 7:30 PM on Tuesday, March 16, 2004 in the
Council Chambers of City Hall, 2 Portuguese Bend Road, Rolling Hills, CA for the
purpose of receiving public input regarding the following:
ZONING CASE NO. 685. Request for a Site Plan Review for grading and
construction of a new single family residence to replace an existing residence
at 3 Eucalyptus Lane, (Lot 53-RH), Rolling Hills, CA.
APPLICATION REQUIRED BY MUNICIPAL CODE: Site Plan Review - Chapter
17.46.
This project has been determined to be categorically exempt pursuant to the
California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA).
Any person is welcome to review the subject application and plans prior to the
public hearing at the City Hall Administration Building located at 2 Portuguese
Bend Road, Rolling Hills, and CA. We welcome your input. You may provide your
comments in writing to the Planning Department prior to the meeting or come to the
meeting and address the Planning Commission on this project.
