Rolling Hills, ca. 90274 STREET ADDRESS =titions for= -b) & c) Swimming Pool 36' 61"../7:: 19040 LOT TRACT I. Such change is warranted because (State reasons) 1)0 One of our reasons for buyir a home in Rolling Hills was to have a swimming -pool which the home we have purchased does not have. Our family has been looking forward to enjoyment plus exercise'and general esthetic beautification that this pool will provide. . 2)The second and really most important reason for this pool is that our 5 years old daugher is suffering from a rare lung desease and her Doctor has recommended swimming as the best exercise for contaimment of this condition. II.- Such change is based upon the following described exceptional or extra- ordinary circumstances or conditions that do not apply generally to other property or class —of use -in the -same vicinity and zone --(State' circum=.- stances) _ _ This request would be in keeping with the pool instalations that have occured in many other homes in our .vicinity. II._ Such .change is necessary for_ -the ._preservation _and -enjoyment of a -sub- - stantial property right possessed by other property in the same vicinity and zone (State reasons) We believe that this installation will enhance our property rights and enjoyment as it has done with other properties in our vicinity and make it more valuable in the future. IV. Such change will not be materially detrimental to,the public welfare or injurious to the property or improvements in suchvicinity and zone where property is located because - This private area is the only location for a pool on the entire property. We feel that this location will be no problem to the public welfare and adjacent property. However, we are also requesting that a variance be considered which will allow the -pool and deck to infringe in the setback per plan but not the easement, which would then allow the pool to be at least 24' long instead of 14' long (If additional space is needed, use reverse side of sheet)
