BEFORE THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF ROLLING HILLS, CALIFORNIA
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, that the Planning Commission will hold a Public Hearing at a field trip on
Tuesday, January 21, 2014 at 0 Buggy Whip Drive, Rolling Hills CA. at approximately 7:50 a.m. for
the purpose of receiving public input regarding the following:
ZONING CASE NO. 849, Request for a Certificate of Compliance for Lot Line Adjustment
between two parcels of land for properties at 0 Buggy Whip Drive and 25 Crest Road West, Rolling
Hills, CA, and having Assessors Parcel Numbers (APN) 7569-024-022 and 7569-024-023 and
request for Variances for less than the required width of 0 Buggy Whip parcel; for lots that are less
than 2 acres net in area; for encroachment into the side setback on 25 Crest Road W. and to exceed
the structural coverage at 25 Crest Road W. The non -conforming conditions already exist on the
lots, but they will be altered with the proposed application, and therefore Variance is required. (Mr.
and Mrs. Joseph Czyzyk). No new development is proposed with this application. The Project has
been determined to be exempt from the California Environmental Quality Act, (CEQA).
MUNICIPAL CODE APPLICATIONS: City of Rolling Hills Subdivision Ordinance -Title 16, and State
of California Subdivision Map Act.
The Planning Commission schedule is to visit another property starting at 7:30 a.m., therefore an exact
time of the field visit to subject property cannot be established.
Any person is welcome to review the subject application and plans prior to the public hearing at the City
Hall Administration Building located at 2 Portuguese Bend Road, Rolling Hills, CA. We welcome your
input. You may provide your comments in writing to the Planning Department prior to the meeting or
come to the meeting and address the Planning Commission on this project.
If you challenge the approval or denial of this permit application in court, you may be limited to raising
only those issues you or someone else raised at the public hearing described in this notice, or in written
correspondence delivered to the Planning Commission at, or prior to the public hearing.
The Planning Commission may continue to discuss and deliberate this case at their regular meeting,
scheduled to be held on the evening of the field trip, Tuesday, January 21, 2014 beginning at 6:: 30 p.m. in
the City Hall Council Chambers_
