AND NOTICE OF A FIELD TRIP OF THE
PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF ROLLING HILLS
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, that the Planning Commission of the City of Rolling Hills
will hold a Public Hearing at about 8:00 a.m on Tuesday, September 14, 2010 to view a
proposed project on the site at 8 Maverick Lane, Rolling Hills, CA. Public input will be
received regarding the following:
ZONING CASE NO. 795. Request for a Site Plan Review to enlarge and relocate
an existing pool and spa and to relocate and add several walls, not to exceed an
average of 30 inches in height. As a result of the relocated and new walls, the
building pad area will increase by 1,789 square feet. The Site Plan review is
required due to a condition placed on a previous approval for this property that
the Planning Commission reviews any future development on this property. The
project is located at 8 Maverick Lane, (Lot 26-A-SK), Rolling Hills, CA, (Karpf).
APPLICATIONS REQUIRED BY MUNICIPAL CODE: Chapter 17.46. - Site Plan Review
and Chapter 17.38-Variances.
The project has been determined to be categorically exempt pursuant to the California
Environmental Quality Act (CEQA).
The Planning Commission schedule is to visit another vrovertu starting at 7:30 a.m.,
therefore an exact time of the field visit to subiect vrovertu cannot be established.
Any person is welcome to review the subject application and plans prior to the field trip
public hearing at the City Hall Administration Building located at 2 Portuguese Bend
Road, Rolling Hills, CA. We welcome your input. You may provide your comments in
writing to the Planning Department prior to the meeting or come to the meeting and
address the Planning Commission on this project.
If you challenge the approval or denial of this permit application in court, you may be
limited to raising only those issues you or someone else raised at the public hearing
described in this notice, or in written correspondence delivered to the Planning
Commission at, or prior to, the public hearing.
Following the field triv, the Planning Commission will continue to discuss and deliberate this
case at their regular meeting, scheduled to be held on Tuesday, Sevtember 21. 2010, beginning at
6:30 v.m. in the City Hall Council Chambers, 2 Portuguese Bend Road, Rolling Hills, CA.
