Under date of November 30, 1962, the Board of Education reapplied for a
Variance and Conditional Use Permit for the purpose of constructing District
Administration offices, District Educational Materials and Library facilities,
District Maintenance and Transportation facilities at this site. As a result
of the objections raised the Planning Commission and the City Council, by
,unanimous action, denied the request for the Variance and Conditional Use Permit.

Board of Education has directed a thorough study of the transportation problem
for the purpose of providing complete and detailed information which will assist
the Board in arriving at the most practical and feasible solution to the problem
of location of the transportation facilities.
In the mean time, the Board wishes to proceed with the construction of addi-
tional facilities proposed at the 38 Crest RoadIWest site, therefore, revises
its application for a Variance and Conditional Use Permit to include District
Administration offices, District Educational Materials and Library facilities,

surrounding this site. A Master Plan showing the location of these facilities
on the site has been filed with the Planning Commission.
