The Planning Commission of the City of Rolling Hills will conduct a field
inspection on Tuesday , Tune 15, 2004 at 5:30 PM to view the following zoning
case:
ZONING CASE NO. 687
Mr. and Mrs. Michael Wallace, 11 Eastfield Drive, (Lot 54-EF). Variance to
encroach with a portion of an addition into the north side yard setback at an
existing single family residence.
The Planning Commission held a public hearing on subject zoning case on May
18, 2004, at which time the Commission heard a detailed presentation of the
proposal.
Any person is welcome to attend this field trip. However, due to time constraint
during the field visit, extensive testimony and comments will be considered at
the regular Planning Commission public hearing, described below. You are
urged to review the application, plans and minutes of the 5/18/04 Planning
Commission meeting on subject application prior to the site visit. These and
other pertinent documents are available at the City Hall Administration Building
located at 2 Portuguese Bend Road, Rolling Hills, CA.
The Planning Commission will hold an additional meeting regarding Zoning
Case No. 687 on Tuesday, Tune 15, 2004 at 7:30 PM., at City Hall. Please reserve
this date.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, that the Planning Commission of the City of Rolling Hills
will hold a Public Hearing at 7:30 PM on Tuesday, May 18, 2004, at the City Hall
Administration Building, 2 Portuguese Bend Road, Rolling Hills, CA for the purpose of
receiving public input regarding the following:
ZONING CASE NO. 687. Request for a Variance to permit construction of
additions, portion of which would encroach into the north side yard setback at an
existing single family residence at 11 Eastfield Drive, Lot 54-EF, Rolling Hills, CA.
APPLICATIONS REQUIRED BY MUNICIPAL CODE: Chapter 17.38 — Variances.
The project has been determined to be categorically exempt pursuant to the California
Environmental Quality Act (CEQA).
Any person is welcome to review the subject application and plans prior to the public
hearing at the City Hall Administration Building located at 2 Portuguese Bend Road,
Rolling Hills, and CA. We welcome your input. You may provide your comments in
writing to the Planning Department prior to the meeting or come to the meeting and
address the Planning Commission on this project.
If you challenge the approval or denial of this permit application in court, you may be
limited to raising only those issues you or someone else raised at the public hearing
described in this notice, or in written correspondence delivered to the Planning
Commission at, or prior to, the public hearing.
