NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, that the Planning Commission will conduct a field
visit on Tuesday, March 15, 2011 at 7:30 AM to view a proposed project at 2
Pheasant Lane in the following zoning case:
ZONING CASE NO. 800. Request for a Conditional Use Permit to
retain an existing "as built" two story nonconforming stable structure, to
which 105 square feet was added, and request for Variances to retain the
stable structure and corral in the side yard setback and to allow the access to
the tack room to be paved in its entirety, at an existing single family residence
at 2 Pheasant Lane, (Lot 89-B-RH), Rolling Hills, CA, (Askari). Project has
been determined to be exempt from the California Environmental Quality
Act, (CEQA).
The Planning Commission held a public hearing on subject zoning case on February
15, 2011 at which time the Commissioners heard a detailed presentation of the
proposal. The purpose of the field trip is to familiarize the members of the Planning
Commission and interested parties with the location, topography, size and extent of
the project.
Any person is welcome to attend this field trip and provide public testimony.
However, due to time constraint during the field visit, extensive testimony and
comments may be considered at the regular Planning Commission public hearing
described below, if so scheduled by the Planning Commission. We urge you to
review the application, plans and minutes of the previous meeting on subject
application prior to the site visit. These and other pertinent documents are available
at the City Hall Administration Building located at 2 Portuguese Bend Road, Rolling
Hills, CA.
If you challenge the approval or denial of this permit application in court, you may
be limited to raising only those issues you or someone else raised at the public
hearing described in this notice, or in written correspondence delivered to the
Planning Commission at, or prior to, the public hearing.
The Planning Commission may continue the public hearing to their regular meeting,
scheduled to be held on Tuesday, March 15, 2011 beginning at 6:30 v.m. in the City Hall
Council Chambers, 2 Portuguese Bend Road, Rolling Hills, CA.
