NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, that the Planning Commission of the City of
Rolling Hills will continue the public hearing in a matter of a project at 7 Crest
Road East on Tuesday, December 15, 2015 at 6:30 pm in the City Hall Council
Chambers, 2 Portuguese Bend Road, Rolling Hills, CA.
The Planning Commission visited the site on November 17, 2015 and during the
field trip noticed that the project was not properly staked. The applicants have
now erected a silhouette of the proposed elements of the project for neighbors to
view.
The project consists of the following:
ZONING CASE NO. 891: Requests for a Site Plan Review for a 117 square foot
partially raised deck by the existing cabana, an outdoor kitchen with 5' high
backsplash projecting 1.5 on each side of the outdoor kitchen and located
underneath a new trellis; a Conditional Use Permit to convert an existing cabana
and roofed patio to a 421 square foot guest house, (within the existing footprint
and existing roof ridge line), at 7 Crest Road East (Lot 3-FT), Rolling Hills, CA,
(Doty).
The project is exempt from the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA)
pursuant to Section 15303 CEQA Guidelines.
Any person is welcome to review the subject application and plans prior to the
public hearing at the City Hall Administration Building located at 2 Portuguese
Bend Road, Rolling Hills, CA. We welcome your input. You may provide your
comments in writing to the Planning Department prior to the meeting or come to
the meeting and address the Planning Commission on this project.
If you challenge the approval or denial of this permit application in court, you
may be limited to raising only those issues you or someone else raised at the
public hearing described in this notice, or in written correspondence delivered to
the Planning Commission at, or prior to, the public hearing.

construction or conversion of a small structure(s).
The Planning Commission will continue to discuss and deliberate this case at their regular
meeting, scheduled on Tuesday, November 17, 2015 beginning at 6:30 p.m. in the City Hall
Council Chambers, 2 Portuguese Bend Road, Rolling Hills, CA.
