The following variances under Article III, Ordinance No. 33
have been granted to Judge and Mrs. George Perkovich Lot
116B-EF, 1 Open Brand Road, Rolling Hills:
Under Section 3.08, Rear Yard Requirements: At the meeting of
the Planning Commission held on September 17, 1968 variance of
rear yard requirements was granted, allowing for a portion of
the garage to be constructed 23 feet from the easement line
instead of 50 feet as required for rear yard under Ordinance
No. 33. The rear yard would have minimum depth of 23 feet, e
IMIXiMUM depth of 69 feet, and an average depth of 30 feet.
Under Section 3.06, Front Yard Requirements: At the meeting of
the Planning Commission on October 15, 1968, •a variance of
7 feet in the garage area, 8 feet in the stable area, to reduce
the front setback in the garage area to 23 feet, to 22 feet in
the stable area, instead of the 30 foot set -back in the front
yard as required by Ordinance No. 33,
Under Section 3.01C, Uses Permitted: Permission granted to
allow for construction of an animal shelter five feet from the
attached garage, with the additional requirement that no openable
doors or windows be on the side of the garage adjacent to the
shelter. This variance also granted at the October l5th meeting.
The Finding and Formal Report will be forwarded to you as soon as
it has been checked by our City Attorney, Mr. William Kinley.
