The Planning Commission of the City of Rolling Hills will conduct a field
inspection on Tuesday, April 1, 2003 at 5:00 PM to view a silhouette (outline) of
a proposed 365 square foot residential addition, which would encroach into the
front yard setback at 6 Open Brand Road, in the following case:
ZONING CASE NO. 659 — Request for a Variance to encroach with an
addition into the front yard setback, and a Variance to exceed the
maximum permitted coverage of the front yard area with a driveway at an
existing single family residence at 6 Open Brand Road, (Lot 112-EF)
(Tabazadeh).
The Planning Commission held a public hearing on subject zoning case on March
18, 2003 at which time the Commission heard a detailed presentation of the
proposal. The purpose of the field trip is to familiarize the Commission and
interested parties with the topography and size of the lot, placement of the
proposed project, and to view the silhouette (outline) of the proposed addition.
Although plans will be available at the site, detailed review of the project is not
anticipated.
Any person is welcome to attend this field trip. However, due to time constraint
during the field visit, extensive testimony and comments will be considered at
the regular Planning Commission public hearing, described below. You are
urged to review the application, plans and minutes of the 3/18/03 Planning
Commission meeting on subject application prior to the site visit. These and
other pertinent documents are available at the City Hall Administration Building
located at 2 Portuguese Bend Road, Rolling Hills, CA.
The Planning Commission will hold an additional meeting regarding Zoning
Case No. 659 on Tuesday, April 15, 2003 at 7:30 P.M., at City Hall. Please reserve
this date, as no other notices pertaining to this case will be forthcoming.
