The CITY COUNCIL of the City of Rolling Hills scheduled a TENTATIVE FIELD TRIP
for THURSDAY, NOVEMBER 17, 2005 to view a proposed project at 2 Outrider Road
in the following Zoning Case:
ZONING CASE NO. 711
Mr. and Mrs. Samil Kim, 2 Outrider Road, (Lot 70-A-EF). Site Plan Review for
grading to create a level pad for a play area and to establish a building pad for
construction of a 670 square foot recreation room and future stable and corral; a
Conditional Use Permit for the recreation room and a Variance to exceed the
maximum permitted disturbed net lot area.
The City Council will select an exact date and time for the field trip at their regular
meeting, which will be held on Monday, November 14,, 2005 at 7:30 p.m. Therefore, if
you are interested in this case, you should attend the 11 / 14/ 05 City Council meeting or
call the City Hall at (310) 377-1521 on Tuesday, November 15, 2005 to learn whether or
not the City Council set another date and time for the field trip.
The TENTATIVE City Council's schedule is to visit another property on November 17,
2005 beginning at 8:00 a.m. and then proceed to 2 Outrider Road.
The City Council will hold a public hearing on subject Zoning Case on November 14,
2005 in Council Chambers at City Hall, 2 Portuguese Bend Road, Rolling Hills, at which
time the City Council will hear a detailed presentation of the proposal. The purpose of
the field trip is to familiarize the City Council and interested parties with the location,
topography, size and extent of the proposed project.
Any person is welcome to attend this field trip and provide public testimony. However,
due to time constraint during the field visit, extensive testimony and comments will be
considered at the regular City Council public hearings. We urge you to review the
application, plans and minutes of the 11/14/05 meeting on subject application prior to
the site visit. These and other pertinent documents are available at the City Hall
Administration Building located at 2 Portuguese Bend Road, Rolling Hills, CA.
Following the field trip, the City Council will continue to discuss and deliberate this case at their
regular meeting, which will be held on Monday, November 28, 2005, beginning at 7:30 p.m. in
the City Hall Council Chambers.

The PLANNING COMMISSION of the City of Rolling Hills will conduct a field
inspection on Tuesday, August 16, 2005 at 4:00 p.m. to view a proposed project
at 2 Outrider Road in the following zoning case:
ZONING CASE NO. 711. Mr. and Mrs. S. Kim, request for a Site Plan
Review for grading to create a play area and to construct a recreation
room, a Conditional Use Permit to permit the construction of the
recreation room and a Variance to exceed the maximum permitted
disturbed area of the lot at an existing single family residence at 2
Outrider Road (Lot 70-A-EF), Rolling Hills, CA.
The Planning Commission held a public hearing on subject zoning case on July
19, 2005, at which time the Planning Commission heard a detailed presentation
of the proposal. The purpose of the field trip is to familiarize the Commissioners
and interested parties with the location, topography, size and extent of the
proposed project.
Any person is welcome to attend this field trip and provide public testimony.
However, due to time constraint during the field visit, extensive testimony and
comments will be considered at the regular Planning Commission public hearing
described below. We urge you to review the application, plans and minutes of
the previous meeting on subject application prior to the site visit. These and
