NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, that the Planning Commission of the City of
Rolling Hills will hold a Public Hearing in the field at a property located at 5
Hillside Lane on Tune 19. 2012. at approximately_ 9:00 a.m. for the purpose of
receiving public input regarding the following:
ZONING CASE NO. 821. Consideration and possible action on Zoning Case
No. 821, 5 Hillside Lane (Lot 126-C-RH), Rolling Hills, CA. Request for a
Conditional Use Permit for a previously approved and partially constructed
stable consisting of 1,800 square foot first story and 1,440 square foot loft, and a
Variance to retain higher than allowed plate height of the loft, (Gaudenti). Project
has been determined to be exempt from the California Environmental Quality
Act.
APPLICATIONS REQUIRED BY MUNICIPAL CODE: Chapter 17.42-
Conditional Use Permit and Chapter 17.38 — Variances.
The Planning Commission schedule is to visit three other properties
beeinnine at 7:30 a.m., therefore the exact time of the visit to this property
cannot be established.
Any person is welcome to review the subject application and plans prior to the
public hearing at the City Hall Administration Building located at 2 Portuguese
Bend Road, Rolling Hills. We welcome your input. You may provide your
comments in writing to the Planning Department prior to the meeting or come to
the field trip meeting and address the Planning Commission on this project.
If you challenge the approval or denial of this permit application in court, you
may be limited to raising only those issues you or someone else raised at the
public hearing described in this notice, or in written correspondence delivered to
the Planning Commission at, or prior to, the public hearing.
Following the field trip, the Planning Commission may continue to discuss and
deliberate this case at their regular meeting, scheduled to be held on Tuesday, June 19,
2012, beginning at 6:30 p.m. in the City Hall Council Chambers, 2 Portuguese Bend
Road, Rolling Hills, CA. However, the Planning Commission could take action on this
case at the field trip, in which case the public hearing would be closed. Therefore, your
participation in this matter is very important at or prior to the field trip.
