E. Wise Lot 2CRB, Chesterfield Ranchos ZONING CASE #78 FINDINGS AND FORMAL REPORT The application. of Mr. George E. Wise, Lot 2CRB, Chesterfield Ranchos Tract, for a front yard and side yard variance came on for hearing on. the 18 th day of June, 1968 at the hour of 8:00 P.M. at the Administration Building of the City of Rolling Hills, California and the applicant, having submitted evidence in support of his ap- plication, the Planning Commission, being advised, now makes its Findings and Formal Report as required by the Ordinances of the City of Rolling Hills, California. The Commission is the owner of that Chesterfield Ranchos California, and that said application was I. finds that the applicant, Mr. George E. Wise, certain real property described as Lot 2CRB, Tract, located in the City of Roiling Hills, notice of the public hearing in connection with given as required by Sections 8.06 and 8.07 of Ordinance No. 33 of the City of Rolling Hills, California. II. The Commission further finds that no person appeared at said public hearing in opposition. that no evidence was The Commission. to the application for a variance, and received by the Commission in opposition thereto. III. further finds that the swimming pool of the residence of the applicant is to be located defined in Section 3.07 and extend into the in the side yard, as front yard, as defined in. Section 3.06 of Ordinance No. 33, and further finds that by reason of the terrain of Lot 2CRB, Chesterfield Ranchos Tract, the variance should be granted to applicant in order to preserve substantial pro- perty rights possessed by other property in the same vicinity and zone, with the stipulation that a protective fence be provided between the northerly easement and the pool, and that the granting of such variance will not be materially detrimental to the public welfare or injurious to property in the same vicinity and zone, Iv. From the foregoing it is concluded that a variance should be granted by the Planning Commission of the City of Rolling Hills to Mr. George E. Wise, Lot 2CRB, Chesterfield Ranchos Tract, in ac- cordance with the plot plan. marked Exhibit I on file in these pro- ceedings, and it is, therefore, so ordered. July 8, 1968.
