Dear Mr. and Mrs. Lacy:
In consideration of your. request for modification of the Buiiding.Regula-
tions to permit the proposedresideiice..addition and concerns expressed
by your neighbors, the Architectural Inspector has .noted the following
conditions on your property:
1) Delapidated wood fencing;

2) . Electric fencing'on property;
3) Chicken and sheep pens not built in accordance with
City F= Association requirements;
4) Manure piled on' property;
Building Regulations state that "no permits shall be issued for anew,
improvement on any property on which there exists a building, fence or
structure which has been.erected, constructed, enlarged or altered in
violation of these or previously adopted Building Regulations." In
accordance with this regulation; the property should be brought into
conformance,with both City and Association requirements.
With regard to the. wood fencing on the property, as attractive as the
wood white rail fences are, we know they do require a great deal of
upkeep and request that they be repaired and painted. Electric fences
are not permitted and, should be removed.
All fences and pens -for animals should be submitted to the Architectural
Committee'for approval and located at least 35 feet from any window or
door and 25 feet from the exterior property line.

In addition to the Association requirements, the City of Rolling Bills
Ordinance No. 91 specifies that ". no person shall keep chickens,
geese, etc. within 50 feet of any street line or within 20 feet of any
property line or within 100 feet of any dwelling.house or structure.v=.
used as a dwelling..or school." The Ordinance also states that.".. .no
person -shall -stable. or corral -:any horse, -etc .: =within=33 feet--o-f: -any
dweL ng_house or --swimming pool. -
