NOTICE OF ADDITION, REMODEL AND DEMOLITION
DATE OF NOTICE: JANUARY 25, 2019
This is to notify you that your neighbors at 23 Chuckwagon Road submitted an
application to the City of Rolling Hills to make improvements to the house
consisting of 670 square foot addition and interior and exterior remodel where
more than 50% of the exterior walls will be demolished and the residence
reconstructed within the existing footprint, plus the addition.
Pursuant to Section 17.44.020 of the City of Rolling Hills Zoning Ordinance a
notice is required to be provided to property owners within 1,000 foot radius of a
property where the improvement of a residence entails demolition of 50% or
more (in linear feet) of the exterior walls and where the addition does not exceed
999 square feet. Staff is authorized to approve such a project administratively, if
after flagging the entire proposed roof line and the addition, and notifying the
neighbors, no more than owners of one noticed property submit a written
objection to the project within fourteen days of the date of the notice.
You should view the project's flagging and if you have any comments, they
should be submitted in writing to the Planning Department, at 2 Portuguese
Bend Road, Rolling Hills, CA 90274 within 14 days of this notice.
Should objections be submitted from more than one noticed property, the project
will be scheduled for a public hearing before the Planning Commission or the
applicant can revise it.
