It appears that the concrete debris left over from when you had your driveway and motor court
replaced has been dumped in the side easement of your property. Dumping any construction
waste in an easement is prohibited. Please remove this debris from the easement immediately
and properly dispose of it. Contact City Hall at (310)377-1521 with any questions you may have
regarding the City's construction and demolition waste requirements.
Please feel welcome to contact me with any questions, comments or concerns you may have
regarding this letter.
Sincerely,

SUBJECT: ZONING VIOLATION AT 2 OPEN BRAND ROAD (LOT 110-EF)
Dear Mr. and Mrs. Makineni:
Thank you for talking with me on Thursday, August 20, 1998, regarding the lack of
landscape screening at the east side of your tennis court. The City of Rolling Hills
requires property owners to provide landscape screening around all four sides of a
tennis court to conceal the court when Conditional Use Permit approvals are
granted. Because land use decisions run with the land, it is necessary for you, the
property owner, to continue to fulfill this requirement.
In the past, we requested that you screen your tennis court with mature landscaping
and you complied. At this time, there are no plants on the east side of the court.
Good examples of preferred tennis court landscape screening are drought tolerant
plantings such as Oleander or Bougainvillea.
We are pleased that you are going to proceed to landscape screen your tennis court
but will soon be going out of town until November, 1998. In the meantime, please
contact this office within the next thirty days (by September 21. 19981 to inform us of
any planned action.
Feel free to call me at (310) 377-1521 if you have any further questions.

Thank you for your letter regarding the landscaping of our tennis court. We
will be happy to make the modifications necessary, however, we are leaving
for Europe this week and will not be returning until the last week of
September. We will make the changes required at that time.
I will contact you upon our return.

Dear Mr. Makineni:
As we discussed in our telephone conversation this date, you have not provided
landscape screening around your tennis court which was built many years ago. The
City of Rolling Hills requires property owners to provide landscape screening
around a tennis court to conceal the court when Conditional Use Permit approvals
are granted. Land use approvals are attached to the land.
In the past, we requested that you screen your tennis court with mature landscaping
and pointed out a good example of preferred tennis court landscape screening at the
Delpit property at 45 Saddleback Road without any response or acknowledgement.
A copy of that correspondence is attached.
We are pleased that you are going to proceed to landscape screen your tennis court.
Please contact this office within the next thirty days (by September 2, 1994) to inform
us of any planned action.
Feel free to call me at (310) 377-1521 if you have any further questions.

During recent field trips, it was apparent that there is no
landscape screening surrounding your tennis court which was built
many years ago.
The City of Rolling Hills requires property owners to provide
landscape screening around a tennis court when approvals are
granted to conceal the court.
We would appreciate your consideration of screening your tennis
court with mature landscaping this spring. A good example of
preferred tennis court landscape screening can be found at the
Delpit property at 45 Saddleback Road.
Please call me at (310) 377-1521 if you have any questions and I
will be happy to meet with you.
Your cooperation is appreciated.
