The City of Rolling Hills requires property owners to provide landscape screening around all four sides of a tennis court to conceal the court when Conditional Use Permit approvals are granted. Because land use decisions run with the land, it is necessary for you, the property owner, to continue to fulfill this requirement. In the past, we requested that you screen your tennis court with mature landscaping and you complied. At this time, there are no plants on the east side of the court. Good examples of preferred tennis court landscape screening are drought tolerant plantings such as Oleander or Bougainvillea. We are pleased that you are going to proceed to landscape screen your tennis court but will soon be going out of town until November, 1998. In the meantime, please contact this office within the next thirty days (by September 21. 19981 to inform us of any planned action. Feel free to call me at (310) 377-1521 if you have any further questions. LOLA M. The City of Rolling Hills requires property owners to provide landscape screening around a tennis court to conceal the court when Conditional Use Permit approvals are granted. Land use approvals are attached to the land. In the past, we requested that you screen your tennis court with mature landscaping and pointed out a good example of preferred tennis court landscape screening at the Delpit property at 45 Saddleback Road without any response or acknowledgement. A copy of that correspondence is attached. We are pleased that you are going to proceed to landscape screen your tennis court. Please contact this office within the next thirty days (by September 2, 1994) to inform us of any planned action. Feel free to call me at (310) 377-1521 if you have any further questions. OLA M.
