55, Reduce setback from 30 ft to 2, CorrespondenceJune 10 1965
PLt-ia?13+ ,C CO 1aSSMINERS:
Attached is a notice of proposed variance, public
hearing for which will be held at the next meeting
of the Commission.
Ur. Kinney owns a difficult lot which affords a
very limited pact for a house. The lot falls off
into a canyon so steeply it is impossible within
the County and City grading ordinance to build up
the pad.
r,rnen he submitted residence plans to the Architectural
Cormittee, he was advised to request variances from
the Board of Directors and the Planning Commission
to permit a 25 foot setback from the road easement
line instead of 30 feet, which would enable him to
use the only suitable area on the lot for a residence.
I am giving you this background upon the suggestion
of Dr. Pernell at the last meeting.
