In follow up to our conversation on July 11, 2007, I am writing to thank you for your
cooperation in relocating your boat from the street in front of your residence onto your
driveway.
The City's Municipal Code, Section 10.52.210 states "no person shall stop, stand or park
a vehicle on any road for a period of time longer than one hour between the hours of
two a.m. and four a.m. of any day..." Furthermore, upon receiving notice of a vehicle
that is parked in one place for a 72-hour period, the Sheriff's Department will tow the
vehicle (after 72-hours parked in one place, the Sheriff's Department considers a
vehicle abandoned). Your moving the boat onto your driveway will avoid
enforcement efforts.
Please do not hesitate to call me if you have any questions.
