THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF ROLLING HILLS
CALIFORNIA
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, that the Planning Commission will hold a PUBLIC
HEARING at a FIELD VISIT on Tuesday, June 15, 2010 at approximately 8:30
a.m., at 92 Saddleback Road, Rolling Hills, CA for the purpose of receiving public
input regarding the following:
ZONING CASE NO. 752 MODIFICATION. Dr. and Mrs. Mirko
Giaconi, 92 Saddleback Road (Lot 73-B-RH), Rolling Hills, CA. Request
for a modification to a Conditional Use Permit and a Variance granted in
2008 to construct a tennis court and to locate the tennis court in the front
yard area of the property. The request is to allow the retention of higher
than approved tennis court fence. The project has been determined to be
categorically exempt pursuant to the California Environmental Quality
Act (CEQA).
APPLICATIONS REQUIRED BY MUNICIPAL CODE: Chapter 17.38 — Variances
and Chapter 17.42 — Conditional Use Permit.
The Planning Commission schedule is to visit two other properties starting at
7:30 a.m., therefore an exact time of the field visit to subject property cannot be
established.
Any person is welcome to review the subject application and plans prior to the
public hearing at the City Hall Administration Building located at 2 Portuguese
Bend Road, Rolling Hills, CA. We welcome your input. You may provide your
comments in writing to the Planning Department prior to the meeting or attend the
meeting and address the Planning Commission on this project.
If you challenge the approval or denial of this permit application in court, you
may be limited to raising only those issues you or someone else raised at the
public hearing described in this notice, or in written correspondence delivered to
the Planning Commission at, or prior to, the public hearing.
The Planning Commission may continue to discuss and deliberate this case at their
regular meeting, scheduled to be held on the evening of the field triv, Tuesday, Tune 15,
2010, beginning at 6:30 v.m. in the City Hall Council Chambers.
