Hills, California 90274 Dear Mrs. Clifton: TRACT 32256 H-4 850..24/32256 PPursuant to our service agreement with the City of Rolling Hills, we have reviewed the map for Tract 32256 insofar as it pertains to road improvements and find nothing contrary to City require— ments for filing. Attached is an agreenent submitted by Roger A. Meurer and Rhea L. Heurer, 9 3lackwater Canyon Road, Rolling Hills, California, which Ur provides for the construction of the street improvements in the subject tract. The faithful performance bond and the bond for labor and materials, executed by Roger A. Meurer and Rhea L. Meurer as improvement security in the amounts of $28,000 and $14,000, respectively, are also attached. The street offered for dedication is shown on the map as a Private Street and, therefore, should not be accepted. It is my recommendation that the map be approved for filing subject to the following determination. Prior to the filing of the subject tract, it is suggested that your duly authorized City officials determine if this project has a significant effect on the environment. If there is a significant effect on the environment, then an Environmental Impact Report is required pursuant to Section 21151 of the California Public Resources Code. r r yours, E. P. Gentlemen; A final addition to the street plans for Tract 32256 provides for a ten foot wide, concrete paved horse crossing. Since this item is not included in the Road Bond Estimate, I herewith enclose a cash deposit to cover same. The cost is estimated to be for 200 sq, ft. of 4" P.C.C. concrete, in place, for $2.00 per sq. ft. or a total of $400.00. Adding 20% for contingencies brings the total $480.00 for faithful performance and $240.00 for labor and materials. We have therefore made the check for $720.00. Thank -you for your cooperation.
