A Regular Adjourned Meeting of the City Council of the City of Rolling Hills was called
to order by Mayor Pennell at 7:12 a.m. on Monday, February 24, 1992 at 11 Quail Ridge
Road South, Rolling Hills, California.
PUBLIC HEARING (CONTINUED)
A. CONSIDERATION OF AN APPEAL OF VIEW PRESERVATION
COMMITTEE RESOLUTION NO. 91 -1 -VPC DECLARING A VIEW
IMPAIRMENT CAUSED BY SPECIFIC TREES
LOCATION: 11 QUAIL RIDGE ROAD SOUTH
PROPERTY OWNER: DORIS MCNABB
COMPLAINANT: SAMUEL AND BURT ARNOLD, 2 SPUR LANE
APPELLANT: DORIS MCNABB
Under the continued public hearing, City Council members viewed these two (2) specific
trees declared to be causing a view impairment on property owned by Doris McNabb, 11
Quail Ridge Road South. City Council members proceeded to the Arnold residence, 2 Spur
Lane, to view the subject trees from the perspective of the Arnold's living room and kitchen
area.
Following discussion, Mr. Arnold was requested to attempt to obtain expert or reputable
testimony from an arborist or tree trimming service to be delivered to the City Council at
the continuation of this public hearing scheduled for 7:30 a.m. on Monday, February, 24,
1992.
Following brief discussion, the public hearing was continued to 7:30 a.m. on Monday,
February 1992.
The meeting was adjourned at 7:55 a.m. to Monday, February 24, 1992 at 7:30 p.m. in the
Council Chambers, City Administration Building, 2 Portuguese Bend Road, Rolling Hills,
California.
