MINUTES OF AN ADJOURNED REGULAR MEETING
OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROLLING HILLS,
CALIFORNIA
MARCH 16, 1992
7:00 A.M.
Present: Councilmembers Leeuwenburgh and Murdock,
Mayor Pro Tem Swanson and Mayor Pernell.
Absent: Councilmember Heinsheimer.
Also Present: Craig R. Nealis, City Manager

A Regular Adjourned Meeting of the City Council of the City of Rolling Hills was called
to order by Mayor Pernell at 7:04 a.m. on Monday, March 16, 1992 at 42 Portuguese Bend
Road, Rolling Hills, California.
PUBLIC HEARING (CONTINUED)
A. ZONE CASE NO. 461: CONSIDERATION OF AN APPEAL OF
PLANNING COMMISSION ACTION REAPPROVING A VARIANCE
FOR THE ENCROACHMENT OF A RETAINING WALL INTO THE
SIDE YARD SETBACK, REAPPROVING A CONDITIONAL USE
PERMIT FOR THE RECONSTRUCTION OF A PREVIOUSLY
CONSTRUCTED CLAY SPORTS COURT, AND REPEALING
RESOLUTION NO. 91-27.

ADDRESS: 42 PORTUGUESE BEND ROAD (LOT 120-RH)
Under the continued public hearing, City Councilmembers reviewed the proposed
reconstruction of the sports court from the driveway and from the existing court, and viewed
the vicinity surrounding the property in the direction of Georgeff Road. City Council
members familiarized themselves with the particulars of the lot and the encroachment of
the existing and proposed sports court into the side yard setback.
Following brief discussion, the public hearing was continued to 7:30 p.m. on Monday, March
23, 1992.
