9/27/1993MINUTES OF A REGULAR MEETING OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROLLING HILLS, CALIFORNIA SEPTEMBER 27, 1993 CALL TO ORDER A regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Rolling Hills was called to order by Councilmember Thomas Heinsheimer at 7:30 p.m. on Monday, September 27, 1993, in the City Council Chambers at the City Hall/Administration Building, 2 Portuguese Bend Road, Rolling Hills, California. ROLL CALL Councilmembers Present: Heinsheimer, Pernell and Swanson. Councilmembers Absent: Mayor Murdock (excused) and Mayor Pro Tem Leeuwenburgh (excused). Others Present: Craig R. Nealis, City Manager. CONSENT CALENDAR Matters which may be acted upon by the City Council in a single motion. Any Councilmember may request removal of any item from the Consent Calendar causing it to be considered under Council Actions. a. Minutes - Meeting of September 13, 1993. RECOMMENDATION: Approve as presented. b. Payment of Bills. RECOMMENDATION: Approve as presented. C. Financial Statement for the Month of August. RECOMMENDATION: Approve as presented. d. Correspondence from Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors regarding action taken relative to graffiti -related vandalism used in advertising promotions. RECOMMENDATION: Receive and file. e. Correspondence from Browning-Ferris Industries regarding recovered recyclable material. RECOMMENDATION: Receive and file. f. Correspondence from City Treasurer Larry Courtright regarding computers. RECOMMENDATION: Approve as presented. g. Memorandum from Principal Planner Lola Ungar regarding updated plans relative to Zoning Case No. 500, Mr. and Mrs. Paul Hennessey, 12 Johns Canyon Road (Lot 170 -A -7 -MS). RECOMMENDATION: Receive and file. Councilmember Pernell moved approval of the recommendations contained in the Consent Calendar. CONSIDERATION OF AWARD OF BID FOR FY 93-94 CITYWIDE REPLACEMENT OF TRAFFIC STRIPING AND PAVEMENT MARKING PROJECT. Councilmember Pernell moved that the City Council adopt Resolution No. 713 awarding the FY 93-94 Citywide Replacement of Traffic Striping and Pavement Marking contract to IPS Services, Inc. of San Bernardino, California. ADJOURNMENT Hearing no further business before the City Council, Councilmember Heinsheimer adjourned the meeting at 7:33 p.m. to the next regularly scheduled meeting of the City Council which will be held on Monday, October 11, 1993, in the City Council Chambers at the City Hall/Administration Building, 2 Portuguese Bend Road, Rolling Hills, California.
