3/10/19941: 1 MINUTES OF AN ADJOURNED REGULAR MEETING OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROLLING HILLS, CALIFORNIA MARCH 10, 1994 CALL TO ORDER An adjourned regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Rolling Hills was called to order 1 by Mayor Murdock at 7:35 a.m. on Thursday, March 10, 1994, at 16 Pine Tree Lane (Lot 81-RH), Rolling Hills, California. ROLL CALL Councilmembers Present: Swanson, Pernell, Mayor Pro Tem Leeuwenburgh and Mayor Murdock. Councilmembers Absent: Heinsheimer. Others Present: Craig R. Nealis, City Manager. Lola Ungar, Principal Planner. Dr. Ramon Cukingnan, Applicant. William Hassoldt, 10 Pine Tree Lane. Mr. Doug McHattie, South Bay Engineering. PUBLIC HEARINGS - CONTINUED A. ZONING CASE NO. 450. SUBDIVISION NO. 84. TENTATIVE PARCEL MAP NO. 21486 DR. AND MRS. RAMON CUKINGNAN, 16 PINE TREE LANE (LOT 81-RH) RESOLUTION 94-4: A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF ROLLING HILLS RECOMMENDING APPROVAL OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF TENTATIVE PARCEL MAP NO. 21486, SUBDIVISION NO. 84, A REQUEST TO SUBDIVIDE A 6.07 ACRE EXISTING LOT THAT HAS ONE RESIDENTIAL UNIT INTO 2 SINGLE-FAMILY RESIDENTIAL LOTS FRONTING THE NORTHERN TERMINUS OF PINE TREE LANE IN ZONING CASE NO. 450. Members of the City Council, applicants, local residents and staff viewed the cul-de-sac staking, proposed pad area, and easement dimensions for the proposed subdivision. The engineer was reminded that the proposed driveway access to the existing lot should be planned to be offset from a proposed driveway for the new lot in this subdivision application. Members of the City Council reviewed the equestrian access to the proposed stable on the existing as well as proposed lots and equestrian access to the trail located in the canyon below the property. It was mentioned by the applicant's representative that an amended plan, with minor modifications to the roadway area, might be proposed , by the applicant in an effort to accommodate concerns expressed by the adjoining property owner. The applicant was advised that he would need to submit a letter requesting a continuance on this matter at the Monday, March 14, 1994, public hearing/City Council meeting in this regard should that be their desire. It was expressed to the applicant that the Traffic Commission could consider an amended roadway plan in conjunction with this application at their regular meeting to be held Friday, March 18, 1994.
