NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, that the Planning Commission of the City of Rolling
Hills at their meeting on Tuesday, Tuly 21, 2009 at 6:30 PM will consider a request for
modification to a previously approved Site Plan Review and Conditional Use Permit
for a recreation room and access thereto at 3 Poppy Trail in Zoning Case No. 762.
REQUEST: Modification to previously approved retaining walls along the access
road to the recreation room. The proposed walls are to be interlocking block walls
with planting in between the blocks. In addition, the request is to allow up to two
feet of such walls, where one foot retaining wall and / or a 6 inch curb was
previously approved.
The meeting will be held in the Council Chambers of City Hall, 2 Portuguese Bend
Road, Rolling Hills, CA.
APPLICATION REQUIRED BY MUNICIPAL CODE: Site Plan Review- Section 17.46
and Conditional Use Permit - Section 17.42.
This project has been determined to be categorically exempt pursuant to the
California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA).
Any person is welcome to review the subject application and plans prior to the
meeting at the City Hall Administration Building located at 2 Portuguese Bend
Road, Rolling Hills, and CA. We welcome your input. You may provide your
comments in writing to the Planning Department prior to the meeting or come to the
meeting and address the Planning Commission on this project.
If you challenge the approval or denial of this request for modification in court, you
will be limited to raising only those issues you or someone else raised at the meeting
described in this notice, or in written correspondence delivered to the Planning
Commission at, or prior to this meeting.
