4/23/19981 1 MINUTES ADJOURNED REGULAR MEETING OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROLLING HILLS THURSDAY, APRIL 23, 1998 The adjourned regular meeting of the City Council was called to order at 8:00 AM at the top of Pine Tree Lane where it joins Portuguese Bend Road by Mayor B. Allen Lay on Thursday, April 23, 1998. PRESENT,: Councilmembers Murdock, Pernell, Mayor Pro Tem Hill and Mayor Lay. ABSEN-T:-Councilmember -Heinsheimer. ALSO PRESENT: Ms. Lola Ungar, Planning Director. At the meeting, the City Council requested a revised map of Pine Tree Lane that shows the road to be 18 feet wide and an explanation if certain places cannot be widened to 18 feet; street widenings at the four fire hydrants to be 26 feet to the satisfaction of the Fire Department, and the possible relocation of the first two fire hydrants from Portuguese Bend Road. The Council also requested that access to the Community Association's trail system be maintained. Along with City Council members and staff, the following people were in attendance at the field trip: Mr. and Mrs. William Hassoldt, applicants Mr. Martin Steere, Attorney Mr. Gary Wynn, Wynn Engineering Mr. Stanley Lamport, Attorney Captain John Jacobs, County Fire Dept. Inspector Mitch Diehl, County Fire Dept. Chief Dennis Ware, County Fire Dept. Mr. Bart Cleveland, resident Dr. Martin Goldberg, resident Mrs. Virginia Letts, resident Mrs. Beth Burns, resident Mr. Charles Raine, resident Mr. Reinhold Ullrich, resident Mr. Steve Watt, resident The public hearing was continued to April 27, 1998.
