CALL TO ORDER
An adjourned regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Rolling Hills was called to
order by Mayor Pro Tem Pernell at 4:32 p.m. at 27 Middleridge Lane South, Rolling Hills,
California. .

PUBLIC HEARINGS-Continued
ZONING CASE NO. 595
AN APPEAL OF A PLANNING COMIVIISSION APPROVED REQUEST FOR A
CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT TO PERMIT THE CONSTRUCTION OF A PROPOSED
SPORTS COLTRT AT AN EXISTING SINGLE FAMILY RESIDENCE AT 27
MIDDLERIDGE ROAD SOUTH (LOT 248-B-2-UR),ROLLING HILLS, CA.

Mayor Pro Tem Godfrey Pernell opened the continued public hearing. Those in attendance
. viewed the proposed location of the sports court at 27 Middleridge Lane South. Items
observed and briefly discussed included the adjacent slopes, drainage, placement of the court
and ability of the lot to accommodate the minimum corral and stable.
Those in attendance also observed the proposed landscaping plan and placement of that
landscaping material for the court.
Those in attendance visited the residence of Mr. and Mrs. Ken Johnson, 29 Middleridge Lane
South. At that location, those in attendance viewed the visual impact of the court, and heard
concerns over slope stability, from the perspective of 29 Middleridge Lane South. Views from
the deck adjacent to the family room and master bedroom were observed.
Hearing no further discussion the public hearing was continued to Monday, November 8, 1999
in the City Council Chambers, 2 Portuguese Bend Road, Rolling Hills, California.

ADTOURNMENT
Hearing no further business before the City Council, Mayor Pro Tem Pernell adjourned the
meeting at 5:26 p.m., to the next regularly scheduled meeting of the City Council to be held on
Monday, November 8, 1999, beginning at 7:30 p.m., in the City Council Chambers, at City
Hall, 2 Portuguese Bend Road, Rolling Hills, California.
