ADJOURNED REGULAR MEETING
OF THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF ROLLING HILLS
TUESDAY, OCTOBER 21, 2003
Mayor Frank Hill called the adjourned regular meeting of the City Council to order at 7:30 a.m.
at 15 Eastfield Drive.
PRESENT: Councilmembers Black, Pernell, Mayor Pro Tem Heinsheimer, and Mayor
Hill.
ABSENT: Councilmember Lay (excused).
ALSO PRESENT: Craig Nealis, City Manager and Yolanta Schwartz, Planning Director.
The following people were also in attendance at the field trip:
Mr. and Mrs. Gordon, applicants.
Mr. Tom Blair, Blair Associates.
Mr. Luis de laRosa, Blair Associates.

ZONING CASE N0.664
CONSIDERATION OF A REQUEST FOR A SITE PLAN REVIEW FOR
CONSTRUCTION OF AN ADDITION AND REQUEST FOR VARIANCES TO EXCEED
THE MAXIMUM PERMITTED STRUCTURAL LOT COVERAGE AND TO EXCEED
THE MAXIMUM PERMITTED TOTAL LOT COVERAGE AT AN EXISTING SINGLE
FAMILY RESIDENCE IN ZONING CASE NO. 664 AT 15 EASTIFELD DRIVE. (LOT
52-EF) (GORDON)
Councilmembers and those is attendance viewed the property from perspectives near the barn
and riding ring and adjacent to the proposed improvements to the residential structure.
Councilmembers viewed the silhouette staking of the proposed residential additions in
relation to the existing structures and the property.
Councilmember Black questioned the issued that had been raised by the neighbor regarding
drainage. Mr. Errol Gordon, applicant, described the drainage systems that he has on his
property and the fact that he manages the drainage that comes to his property. He further
described that he had previously attempted to tie into the neighbor's,drain system to better
accommodate drainage on their property however, the neighbor declined to participate in the
drainage connection project.
Following brief discussion, the public hearing was continued to the City Council meeting to be
held on Monday,October 27, 2003,beginning at 7:30 p.m. in the City Council Chambers at City
Hall, 2 Portuguese Bend Road, Rolling Hills, California.
ADJOURNMENT
Hearing no further business before the City Council, Mayor Hill adjourned the meeting at 7:48
a.m., to a regular meeting of the City Council to be held on Monday, October 27, 2003,
beginning at 7:30 p.m., in the City Council Chambers, at City Hall, 2 Portuguese Bend Road,
Rolling Hills, California.
