CALL TO ORDER
An adjourned regular meeting of the City Council was called to order at 8:10 a.m. by Mayor
Pro Tem Hill at 40 Eastfield Drive, Rolling Hills, California.

PUBLIC HEARINGS
ZONING CASE NO. 745,
REQUEST FOR A SITE PLAN REVIEW FOR GRADING AND CONSTRUCTION OF A
NEW SINGLE FAMILY RESIDENCE TO REPLACE AN EXISTING SINGLE FAMILY
RESIDENCE AT 40 EASTFIELD DRIVE, (LOT 91 -EF), ROLLING HILLS, CA.

The City Manager explained the project pointing out the location of the proposed home on the
site plan and as outlined with ribbon, stakes and silhouette at the site. The size of the
proposed residence and basement, amount of cubic dirt and location of the light well were
specifically stated. It was stated that all the dirt excavated from the basement and hill behind
the residence would remain on the property; it would be used to raise the pad and driveway
interface with the residence. The City Council walked to the side of the proposed residence to
observe the hill behind the existing home.
The applicant's architect distributed two photo simulations of the proposed residence from the
perspective of Outrider Road.
The City Council and City Manager left the site and re -gathered on Outrider Road to view the
proposed project.
The City Council directed the City Manager to prepare a Resolution of approval for the project
to be considered at their next meeting on November 26, 2007.

beginning at 7:30 p.m. in the City Council Chambers at City Hall, 2 Portuguese Bend Road,
Rolling Hills, California.
NOTE: At approximately 9:15 a.m., having missed the field trip, Council Member Lay,
City Manager Dahlerbruch and Architect Inferrera visited the site to explain the proposed
project. The three also viewed the proposed project from Outrider Road. Council Member
Lay suggested to the Architect that he provide the Council with a clearer, more accurate
elevation of the proposed residence that illustrates the existing retaining wall and proposed
railing as well as a side view of how the porch will cover a portion of the light well.
