MINUTES OF
SPECIAL MEETING OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF ROLLING HILLS, CALIFORNIA
March 7, 1962
A special meeting of the City Council of the City
of Rolling Hills was held Wednesday, March 7, 1962 at 7:00 P.M.
in the City Hall, pursuant to the special notice which is on
file in the City records.
ROLL CALL
Present: Councilmen Horn, Nielsen, O'Flaherty,
Tourtelot and Mayor Roach
Absent: None
Also
Present: City Attorney William Kinley
City.Clerk Phyllis Stockdale
Deputy City Clerk Mary Louise Powers
B. D. Young, 9 Packsaddle Road West
Mr. and Mrs. Clifton A. Hix, 27 Crest Road West
PURPOSE OF MEETING
Mayor Roach announced that the meeting had been called
to consider adoption of a resolution authorizing the City to
expend funds for the purchase of the Main Gate property and City Hall.
GENERAL FUND FINANCIAL SUMMARY
The Manager submitted a General Fund Financial Report
and Summary showing the receipts and disbursements for the
period of July 1, 1961 through February 1962, and showing
anticipated regular expenditures from July, 1962 to December, 1962.
RESOLUTION NO. 139
Thereafter, Councilman Nielsen read in full and moved
the adoption of Resolution No. 139 entitled "A Resolution of
the City Council of the City of Rolling Hills, California,
Authorizing the Expenditure of Funds for the Purchase of Certain
Real Property Located in the City of Rolling Hills, California".
The motion was seconded by Councilman Tourtelot and adopted by
the following vote:
AYES: Councilmen Horn, Nielsen, O'Flaherty, Tourtelot and
Mayor Roach
NOES: None
ABSENT: None
ADJOURNMENT
There being no further business to come before the
meeting, it was moved by Councilman Nielsen, seconded by Council-
man Tourtelot and unanimously carried that the meeting be
adjourned at 7:15 P.M.
