SATURDAY, OCTOBER 5, 2013
CALL TO ORDER
An adjourned regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Rolling Hills was called to order by
Mayor Hill at 8:12 a.m. in the City Council Chamber at City Hall, 2 Porluguese Bend Road, Rolling
Hills, California.
ROLL CALL
Councilmembers Present: Black`,Dieringer,Lay,Pieper and Mayor Hill.
*arrived at 8:25 a.m.
Councilmembers Absent: None.
Others Present: Steve Burrell, Interim City Manager.
Heidi Luce,Deputy Clty CleTlc(not present during Closed Session).
PUBLIC COMMENT ON CLOSED SESSION AGENDA
None.
Prior to recessing into closed session, Interim City Manager Burrell briefed the City Council on the
interview schedule/process and reviewed the interview questions. He also informed the City Council that
he has met with seven of the candidates and provided them with a tour of the City. At 8:30 a.m., the City
Council recessed to wait for the first candidate to arrive. .

Title: City Manager
The City Council recessed into closed session at 8:55 a.m. with all members present to conduct
interviews for the City Manager position. The City Council recessed for a lunch break at 11:55 a.m. and
returned to closed session with all members present at 12:55 p.m. to continue the interviews. The
meeting returned to open session at 6:04 p.m.

ANNOUNCEMENT.OF ACTIONS FROM CLOSED SESSION (ORAL REPORT).
Following the closed session Interim City Manager Burrell reported in open session that the City
Council conducted interviews for the City Manager position and no reportable action was taken.

ADJOURNMENT �
Hearing no further business before the City Council, Mayor Hill adjourned the meeting at 6:05 p.m. and
continued it to a special meeting of the City Coixncil scheduled for Tuesday, October 8, 2013 beginning
at 6:00 p.m. The next regular meeting of the City Council is scheduled to be held on Monday, October
14, 2013 beginning at 7:30 p.m. in the Gity Council Chamber at City Hall, 2 Portuguese Bend Road,
Rolling Hills, California. .

Tuesday; October 8, 2013 beginning at 6:00 p.m. Said continuance was passed by the
