A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ROLLING HILLS, CALIFORNIA, APPOINTING A
CITY M.�NAG�R, A CITY CLERK, AND A CITY
TREASURER AND FIXING THEIR TERMS OF �iPPOINTMENT
AND COMPENSATION. •
Wf�REAS, the Petition for Incorporation of the City
- of Rolling Hills, California, provided for the appointment
of all officers of that City, other than Councilmen, by the
City Council; and
�REAS the electors, at the incorporation election,
voted for a City Mana�er form of government;
NO"�Pll, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVE'D that Gilbert B. Myers

r, City of Rolling Hills, to the offices of City Manager, City

� Clerk and City Treasurer; and further, be it
RESOLVE�, that upon his qualification and acceptance
of such offices, he shall hold each of such offices at the
pleasure of the City Council, which offices he is hereby
authorized to fulfill in addition to his employment as an
instructor and teacher at Chadwick �chool and as Business
Manager of the Rolling Hills Community Association of Rancho
Palos Verdes; and further, be it
RESOLV�D, that the salary of said Gilbert B. Myers
as City 1VTanager, City Clerk and City Tre'asurer shall, until
June 30, 1957, be, and it is hereby fixed at Ten Dollars
(�10., 00) per month;
THAT the Mayor shall si�n this resolution and all
other Councilmen shall attest and certify to the passage
and adootion thereof.
