A RESOLUTION. OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ROLLING HILLS, CALIFORNIA, APPOINT-
ING A_CITY ATTORNEY AND FIXING THE TERM OF
.HIS APPOINTMENT AND COMPENSATION.
WHEREAS, Section 36505.of the Government Code
of the State of California provides that the City Council
`of a General Law City may appoint a City Attorney; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the .City of Rolling
Hills does hereby find it necessary and advisable to appoint
and employ an attorney to advise it with respect to its
rights and duties;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City
Council of the City of Rolling Hills, California, does
hereby appoint William L. Kinley as City Attorney of
the City of Rolling Hills, to take office as such
immediately uponhis acceptance of such appointment,
and to hold office thereafter at the pleasure of said
City Council; and further be it
RESOLVED, that to and including June 30, 1957,
the salary of said City Attorney shall be and it is .
hereby fixedcat the sum of Ten Dollars ($10.00) per
month;
THAT the Mayor shall sign this resolution
and all other Councilmen shall attest and certify to
the.passage and adoption thereof.
