A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
ROLLING HILLS, CALIFORNIA, PROVIDING FOR THE
ENFORCEMENT OF LAWS AND REGULATIONS RELATING TO
PUBLIC HEALTH BY THE COUNTY HEALTH OFFICER WITHIN
THE CITY OF ROLLING HILLS, CALIFORNIA
WHEREAS, the Health and Safety Code of the State of
California, Section 476, provides that "When the govern-
ing body of a city in the County consents by resolution
or ordinance, the county health officer shall enforce
and observe in the city all of the following:
(a) Orders, quarantine regulations, and rules pre-
scribed by the State Department and other regulations
issued under the provisions of this Code;
(b) Statutes relating to the public health."
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City of
Rolling Hills consents and by this resolution does here-
by consent to such enforcement in the City of Rolling
Hills of such statutes, orders, regulations and rules
by the health officer of Los Angeles County; and, be
it further
RESOLVED, that a certified copy of this resolution
be served on the clerk of the Board of Supervisors of
Los Angeles County on or before February 1, 1957, and
that a copy hereof be sent to the State Director of
Public Health;
THAT the Mayor shall sign this resolution and the
City Clerk shall attest and certify to the passage and
adoption thereof.
