A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROLLING
HILLS, CALIFORNIA, PROVIDING FOR COMPLIANCE WITH THE
PROVISIONS OF SECTIONS 54900 ET SEQ. OF THE GOVERNMENT
CODE OF THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA.
WHEREAS, the Government Code of the State of California,
Sections 54900 et seq., provide that.when a City is created-
the
reatedthe tax or assessment levying authority.of the City shall
cause to be filed, on or before February 1 of the year in
which assessments or taxes are to be levied, a statement
of such creation together with the legal description of
the boundaries of such City and a map or plat indicating
the boundaries, with the State Board of Equalization, and
with each assessor whose role is used for the levy.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Mayor of the
City of Rolling Hills shall cause to be filed with the State
Board of Equalization and with the City Assessor of the
City of Los Angeles a certified copy of this resolution,
a statement setting forth the legal description of the
boundaries of the City of Rolling Hills and a map indicat-
ing the boundaries of the City of Rolling Hills.
That.the Mayor shall sign this resolution and the City
Clerk shall attest and certify to the passage and adoption
thereof.
PASSED, APPROVED, AND ADOPTED THIS 24th day of
January 1957.
