RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROLLING
HILLS, CALIFORNIA,.REQUESTING THE COUNTY SHERIFF TO
CONTINUE THROUGH JUNE 30, 1957, ENFORCEMENT OF STATE
LAWS WITHIN THE CITY OF ROLLING HILLS.
WHEREAS, under Section 34333 of the Government
Code, the City of Rolling Hills is entitled to receive
enforcement of State laws by the Sheriff of the County
of Los Angeles during the remainder of the current
fiscal year without cost to this City; and
WHEREAS, the Sheriff of the County of Los Angeles
has indicated that he is willing to provide such law
protection service if so requested by the City; and
77HEREAS9 the City Council of the City of Rolling
Hills desires to avail itself of such law protection
service;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Mayor of
the City
of Rolling Hills be
and he hereby is
authorized,
empowered
and directed, for
and on behalf of
the City
of Rolling Hills, to request of the Sheriff of the
County of Los Angeles that he continue through June 30,
1957, to provide enforcement of State law within the
City of Rolling Hills without cost or expense to said
City;
THAT the Mayor shall sign this resolution and the
City Clerk shall attest and certify to the passage and
adoption thereof.
PASSED, APPROVED, AND ADOPTED THIS 24th day of
January, 1957.
