RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROLLING HILLS,
CALIFORNIA, APPOINTING THE COUNTY ENGINEER OF THE COUNTY OF
LOS ANGELES AS CITY.ENGINEER.OF THE CITY OF ROLLING HILLS,
EXCEPT AS TO ROADS.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Rolling Hills
desires, under the provisions of Agreement - General
Services, to, from time to time, avail itself of the
services of the County Engineer; and
WHEREAS, it has been indicated•to this Council by the
Chief Administrative Officer of the County of Los Angeles
that it will facilitate the rendition of engineering ser-
vices by the County to the City of Rolling Hills if the
County Engineer is designated as the City Engineer of the
City of Rolling Hills; and
WHEREAS, there are no public roads within the City of
Rolling Hills;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the County Engineer
of the County of Los Angeles, from time to time in office,
is hereby designated the City Engineer of the City of
Rolling Hills for all purposes except road purposes, such
designation to remain effective until rescinded by further
resolution of this Council;
THAT the Mayor shall sign -t.' --this resolution and the
City Clerk shall attest and certify to the passage and
adoption thereof.

1957.
