0007RESOLUTION NO. 7
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF ROLLING HILLS, CALIFORNIA,
PROVIDING FOR THE POSTING RATHER THAN
THE PUBLICATION OF ORDINANCES.
WHEREAS, Section 36933 of the Government Code
of the State of California provides that: "'Within
fifteen (15) days after its passage, the City Clerk
shall cause each ordinance to be published at least
once in,:..a newspaper of general circulation published
and circulated in the City, or if there is none, he
shall cause it to be posted in at least three public
places in the City. In cities incorporated less than
one year, the City Council may determine whether
,ordinances are to be published or posted. Ordinances
shall not be published in a newspaper if the charge
exceeds the customary rate charged by the newspaper
.for publication of private legal notices."
AND, WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of
Rolling -Hills now desires to provide for the posting
of ordinances of the City of Rolling Hills,

:r NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City
Council of the City of Rolling Hills hereby deter-
mines that ordinances shall be posted, and further
RESOLVED, that all ordinances be posted, within
fifteen (15) days of their passage, in the following
places:
(1) On the bulletin board at the City Hall
at 1 Portuguese Bend Road;
(2) On the bulletin board at the Eastfield
Gate House at the intersection of East-
field Drive and Palos Verdes Drive East;
and
(3) On the bulletin board at the West Gate
House on Crest Road near Crenshaw.
and further
RESOLVED, that copies of this resolution be
posted in the manner herein provided for the posting
of ordinances;
THAT the Mayor shall sign this resolution and
the City Clerk shall attest to and certify to the
passage and adoption thereof.
PASSED, APPROVED, AND ADOPTED THIS 24th day of
January, 1957.
