A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF.ROLLING HILLS, CALIFORNIA,
APPOINTING A DEPUTY CITY CLERK AND A
DEPUTY CITY TREASURER, AND FIXING THE
TERMS OF APPOINTMENT AND COMPENSATION.
WHEREAS, the Petition for incorporation of the
City of Rolling Hills, California, provided for the
appointment of all officers of that City other than
the Councilmen by the City Council; and

WHEREAS, it appears desirable that there be
appointed by the City Council a Deputy City Treasurer
and a Deputy City Clerk;
NO'N, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that PHYLLIS
STOCKDALE be, and she is hereby appointed by the City
Council of the City of Rolling Hills to the office of
Deputy City Clerk and Deputy City Treasurer; and

FURTHER, BE IT RESOLVED that upon her qualifica-
tion and acceptance of said such offices, she shall
hold each of such offices at the pleasure of the City
Council, which offices she is hereby authorized to
fulfill in addition to her employment as a secretary
to GILBERT B. ' ,ItiZYERS, Business Manager of the Rolling
Hills Community Association of Rancho Palos Verdes;
and,
FURTHER, BE IT RESOLVED that said PHYLLIS STOCK -
DALE, as Deputy City Clerk and Deputy City Treasurer,
shall not receive any compensation;
. That the Mayor shall sign this resolution and
all other Councilmen shall attest and certify to the
passage, and adoption thereof.
