RESOLUTION NO. 28
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ROLLING HILLS, CALIFORNIA
RE ENFORCEMENT OF ORDINANCE NO. 3.
WHEREAS, under date of January 24, 1957, the City of
Rolling Hills contracted with the County of Los Angeles,
under which contract said County agreed to render health
services authorized by Sections 480 and 482 of the Health
and Safety Code of•the State of California as may be
requested by the City and as provided by its ordinances;
and
WHEREAS, on April'8, 1957 the City Council of the
City of Rolling Hills adopted Ordinance No. 3 entitled
"An Ordinance Prohibiting the Dumping of Garbage and
Refuse in the City of Rolling Hills, California"; and
'WHEREAS this City now desires the Health Officer
of the County of Los Angeles to enforce said Ordinance No.
3;
NOW, THEREFORE, pursuant to the provisions of said.
agreement dated January 24, 1957, it is resolved that
the City Manager.be and he is hereby instructed to make
request in writing to the County Health Officer that the
County Health Officer and -his employees enforce Ordinance
No. 3 of the City of Rolling Hills, California; and fur-
ther
RESOLVED that a certified copy of this resolution
together, with three°(3) certified copies of Ordinance No.
3 be forwarded to the County Health Officer in accordance
with said agreement dated January 24, 1957;

THAT the Mayor shall sign this resolution and the
City Clerk shall attest and certify to the_.passage and
adoption thereof.
PASSED, APPROVED, AND ADOPTED this 27th day of
May, 1957.
