A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ROLLING HILLS FIXING THE COMPENSATION OF
THE CITY MANAGER, CITY CLERK AND CITY TREASURER.
AREAS, by Resolution No. 1 of the City Council
of the City of Rolling Hills$ Gilbert B. Myers was em-
ployed as City Manager, City Clerk and City Treasurer
to hold each of such offices, in addition to his other
employment as an instructor and teacher at Chadwick
School and as Business Manager of the Rolling Hills
Community Association of Rancho Palos Verdes, at the
pleasure of the City Council for a salary of $10.00
per month to and including June 30, 1957; and
WHEREAS, the City Council hereby finds and declares
that reasonable compensation for the services presently
:^ being rendered by said Gilbert B. Myers, as such City
Manager, City Clerk and City Treasurer, is $360.00 per
month; and
WHEREAS, the City Council further finds that said
Gilbert B. Myers has been and will undoubtedly continue
to have expense in the operation of his automobile on
City business in an amount of not less than $65.00 per
month, which expense should be reimbursed by the city;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that effective July
1, 1957 and continuing thereafter, at the pleasure of
the City Council, the monthly salary of Gilbert B.
Myers, as City Manager, City Clerk and City Treasurer,
be and the same is hereby fixed at$360.00; and further
RESOLVED, that an additional sum of $65.00 per
month be paid said Gilbert B. Myers to cover trans-
portation expense.
THAT, the Mayor shall sign this resolution and
all other Councilmen shall attest and certify to the
passage and adoption thereof.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED this 24th day of
June, 1957•
