CITY OF ROLLING HILLS, CALIFORNIA, FIXING
THE RATE OF TAXES FOR THE FISCAL YEAR BE-
GINNING JULY 1,9 1957 AND ENDING JUNE 30,1958

I hereby further certify that said Resolution was,
on the 28th day of August, 19579 posted in three (3)
conspicuous places in the City of Rolling Hills.

WHEREAS fby ordinance heretofore adopted pursuant
to the provisions of Section 51508 of the Government
Code of the State of California this City Council fixed
$41,985.50 as the amount of revenue from property taxes
necessary to support the departments of the City of
Rolling Hills for the current fiscal year commencing
July ls 1957 and ending June 30., 1958; and
WHEREAS, the total assessed value of all property
within the City of Rolling Hills is $5,269,880.00;
NOWI,THEREFORE., pursuant to Section 51511 of the
Government Code of the State of California, the City
Council of the City of Rolling Hills does resolve as
follows:
1. RESOLVED that there is hereby levied for
municipal purposes upon each One Hundred Dollars ($100,00)
worth (assessed valuation ) of property in the City of
Rolling Hills, exclusive of property which Is tax exempt
for the fiscal year commencing July 1. 1957 and ending
June 30, 1`958, a tax of $0.7967.
2. RESOLVED FURTHER that the City Clerk shall
certify to the passage of this resolution by the City
.Council of the City of Rolling Hills and cause the same
to be posted in three (3) conspicuous places in the City
of Rolling Hills, and it shall take effect immediately.
3. RESOLVED FURTHER that the City Clerk be,
and he hereby is, instructed to file with the County
Auditor of the County of Los Angeles on or before Septem-
ber 1. 1957 a certified copy of this resolution.
I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was
adopted by the City Council of the�City of Rolling Hills
at its meeting of the 26th day of August, 1957, by the
following vote:
