RESOLUTION NO. 46
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ROLLING HILLS AUTHORIZING THE
CITY TREASURER TO WITHDRAW SURPLUS FUNDS
FROM THE TREASURY AND TO INVEST SAID
SURPLUS FUNDS IN UNITED STATES TREASURY
NOTES
WHEREAS, the City of Rolling Hills has in its
Treasury surplus funds not required for the immediate
necessities and use of said City; and
WHEREAS, Section 53601 of the Government Code of
the State of California authorizes the City of Rolling
Hills to invest said surplus funds in United States
Treasury Notes,
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the treasurer
of the City of Rolling Hills be authorized and empowered
tt: to withdraw Ten Thousand Dollars ($10,000.00) of the
tr; surplus funds of said City of Rolling Hills from the
Special In Lieu Fund Account No. 1 in the California
Bank located at 407 West Seventh Street, San Pedro,
°- California, depositary of said surplus funds; and
BE IT r,uhTht;h RESOLVED that said treasurer of
the City of Rolling Hills be authorized and empowered
to invest said funds so withdrawn from said Bank account
in ninety -day United States Treasury Notes made payable
to the City of Rolling Hills, California.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED this 13th day of
January, 1958.
