A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROLLING
HILLS REQUESTING THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF THE COUNTY
OF LOS ANGELES TO PERMIT THE REGISTRAR OF VOTERS OF
SAID COUNTY TO RENDER SPECIFIED SERVICES TO THE CITY OF
ROLLING HILLS RELATING TO THE CONDUCT OF A GENERAL
MUNICIPAL ELECTION TO BE HELD IN SAID CITY ON APRIL 8, 1958.
WHEREAS, a general municipal election is to be held
'in the City of Rolling Hills on April 8, 1958; and
WHEREAS, in the course of conduct of said election
and in relation thereto it will be necessary to -:mail
sample ballots and polling place cards to the registered
voters of the City, and it will facilitate such mailing
if the Registrar of Voters of the County of Los Angeles
will prepare and furnish the City the imprinting of the
names and addresses of the registered voters of said
City on mailing labels or stickers furnished by the City;

pursuant to the provisions of Section 9.83 of the Election
Code; and
WHEREAS, all necessary expense in performing this'
service shall be paid by the City of Rolling Hills, the
estimated cost of said services is $5.00, and it is
hereby ordered that the sum of $5.50 (being an amount of
10% in excess of such estimated cost) be reserved from
the funds of said City for this purpose.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of
Rolling Hills does hereby RESOLVE, DETERMINE AND ORDER,
as follows:
SECTION 1. That the City Clerk is hereby directed
to forward without delay to said Board of Supervisors
and to said Registrar of Votors, each a certified copy
of this resolution.
