A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF ROLLING HILLS, IN
THE COUNTY OF LOS ANGELES, STATE
OF CALIFORNIA, DECLARING THE RE-
SULT OF THE GENERAL ELECTION HELD
ON TUESDAY; THE 8TH DAY OF APRIL,
19580 IN SAID CITY
WHEREAS, a general municipal election was held
and conducted in the City of Rolling Hills on Tuesday,
the 8th day of April, 1958, as required by the laws
of the State of California; and
WHEREAS, it appears that notice of said election
was duly and legally given; voting precincts were
properly established; election officers were appointed
and election supplies secured; and that in all respects
said election was held and conducted and votes cast
thereat, received'and canvassed, and returns thereof
made and declared in the time, form and manner as're'
quired by•the general laws of the State of California
governing said.election in said City; and
WHEREAS, the City Council -of said City meit:, in the
council chambers of the council on Tue6day,"the'l5th
day of April, 1958s. to canvass -the , returns of ' said
election and as a`result of said canvass the council
finds that the number of votes cast and the names of
the persons voted for as required by law to be can-
vassed to be as hereinafter stated:
NOW TAEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council
of the City of Rolling Hills, California, as follows:
Section 1. That the general municipal election
was held and conducted in the City of Rolling Hill s
on. Tuesday; the 8th day of April, 1958, in -the time,
form'and manner as -required by law"; that there was
one voting precinct established for the purpose of
holding said election.
Sbdtion 2. That the, --,-.,.names of the persons and the
offices for which they were voted.and the number df -
votes given in each precinct to each of said persons,
together with the whole number of votes which they
received in the entire City, are as follows:

Section 3. That the whole number.of votes cast
at the general municipal election in the City of Rolling
Hills on Tuesday, the 8th day of April, 1958, was 733.
Section U. That as a result ofsaidgeneral'munici-
pal elei-6-ti-6—n-h-eld and conducted in the -City of Rolling
Hills on Tuesday, the 8th day of April, 1958, the City*
Council of the City of Rolling Hills does hereby declare
under Section 9918 of the Election Code of the State of
California that the following persons received the
highest.number of votes cast in 'said City and are hereby
declared elected to their respective offices:

Section 5. The City Clerk shall certify to the
