RESOLUTION NO. 59
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROLL-
ING HILLS DESIGNATING AN ADMINISTRATIVE REPRESENTATIVE
TO HAVE THE INITIAL RESPONSIBILITY OF NEGOTIATING WITH
THE SHERIFF FOR LOCATION AND EXTENT OF SERVICE AND TO
THEREAFTER REQUEST CHANGES OF LOCATION AND EXTENT OF
SERVICES UNDER THE,LAW ENFORCEMENT SERVICES AGREEMENT
BETWEEN THE CITY OF ROLLING HILLS,AND THE COUNTY OF
LOS ANGELES.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Rolling Hills
has, 1�y_Resolution No. 57.9 authorized execution of an Agree-
ment with the County of Los Angeles providing for law enforce-
ment services within the -City of Rolling Hills; and
WHEREAS,, said Agreement provides in part that the City
Council shall designate a representative who shall have the
initial responsibility of negotiating with the,Sheriff for
location and extent of service, and to thereafter request
changes;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED,, that the City Council
designates as such representative the City Manager of the
City of Rolling Hills; and further
BE IT RESOLVED that the Deputy City Clerk is directed
to forward a certified copy of this Resolution to the Clerk
of the Board of Supervisors, to the County Sheriff's Office
and to the Chief Administrative Office, County of Los Angeles.
