A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ROLLING HILLS DIRECTING MAYOR.GOODMAN TO
PROCEED AT HIS OWN EXPENSE ON THE CALIFORNIA
MAYOR'S GOODWILL TOUR OF EUROPE.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Rolling Hills
finds that it is to the best interests and advantage of the
City of Rolling Hills that the Mayor of the City of Rolling
Hills participate in the proposed California Mayor's Good-
will Tour of Europe and represent this City on said tour;
and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Rolling Hills
finds that.the City of Rolling Hills does not have funds"with
which it may defray any part of the expense of such tour;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that Mayor Goodman be
and he .s hereby directed to proceed at his own expense on
the California Mayor's Goodwill Tour of Europe, during such
tour to publicize the City of Rolling Hills, its benefits
and advantages; and further
- RESOLVED, that the Mayor Pro Tempore shall sign this
Resolution and the Deputy City Clerk shall attest and certify
to the passage thereof; and further
BE IT RESOLVED that the Deputy City Clerk is directed_
to forward a certified copy of this Resolution to Mayor Good-
man and to Milo Johnson, organizer of the California Mayor's
Goodwill Tour of Europe. _
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED this 23rd day of June,
1958.
