RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF ROLLING HILLS RE-
QUESTING THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS
TO ORDER THE CANCELLATION OF ALL
CURRENT AND DELINQUENT -TAXES AND
ASSESSMENT LIENS ON CERTAIN PROPERTY
ACQUIRED BY THE CITY OF ROLLING HILLS
WHEREAS, the.City of Rolling Hills, a municipal corporation
in -the County of Los Angeles, State of California, has received
a final judgment condemning for the use of the City of Rolling
Hills the fee simple estate in anAto all of the following
described property:
That portion of Lot 11H" of Rancho Los Palos Verdes., in
the County of Los Angeles, State of California, alloted
to Jotham Bixby by decree of partition in Case No. 2373
of the District Court of the 17th Judicial District, and
entered in Book 4. Page 57 of Judgments,, in the Superior
Court of said County., bounded by the following described
lines:
Beginning at the,most southerly corner of Lot 67 of
Rolling Hills, as shown on Map recorded in Book 201,
Page 29 et seq., of Maps, records of said County; thence
along the southwesterly line of said Lot 67, North 45P'
27t1O" West 251." feet to an angle point therein; thence
alongsaid southwesterly line, North 570 30110" West
217-9 feet
to the most northerly corner of the land
described in deed to Jack V. Evans and wife, recorded
in Book 16862, Page 1190 Official Records of said county;

WHEREAS, said judgment of condemnation was filed November

19, 1958 and entered November 21, 1958 in Judgment Book 3604
at Page 134; and
WHEREAS, said property is -situated within the corporate limits
of the City of Rolling Hills; and
WHEREAS, the only improvements on said property consist of
outdoor lighting fixtures and equipment;,and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Rolling Hills did
acquire the above described property for public purposes.
NOW THEREFORE, -BE IT RESOLVED, that the City of Rolling
Hills petitions the Honorable Board of Supervisors of the County
of Los'Angeles .to order the cancellation of all current and
delinquent taxes and assessment liens on said property legally
cancellable by the proper county officials pursuant to Section
4986 of the Revenue and Taxation Code.
